Sorry Boys, The Sexy Nun Show Is Cancelled

sexy nun Well, I guess we all kind of saw this one coming. Just days after the news came out that an Italian priest was organizing a beauty pageant for nuns, apparently his superiors have already shut it down before it could even get off the ground.

“My superiors were not happy. The local bishop was not happy, but they did not understand me either,” Father Rungi told Reuters news agency from the town of Mondragone, near Naples.

“It was interpreted as more of a physical thing,” he said. “Now, no one is saying that nuns can’t be beautiful, but I was thinking about something more complete.”

“Nuns are – above all – women, and beauty is a gift from God,” he told Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper before he cancelled the project.

By putting an end to Father Rungi’s pageant, it would seem to me that the church establishment has not only managed to sabotage a perfectly suitable opportunity to improve and modernize their image (and the image of the nuns) among the young and disenfranchised, but also reinforced their own “old and dour” perception at the same time. Well done, stiffly stiffersons.

As usual, the nuns who came up with the idea in the first place will just have to wait until the culture changes. It does change, right?

I agree, Nuns should be able to express their beauty and their hearts content. The Idea of being a Nun is a waist of life and time. In the Book of Genesis, when God created the heavens and the earth, the last creation was Adam and Eve. God made the woman for or as a helper to man. He didn’t make woman and said: “Once you have multiplied and field the earth, now you have to leave me a batch of weman so that they can serve me. God has miriads and miriads of Angels that minister to him. He does not need mere man to do this. Our human capacities in contrast to that of the heaves are so insignificant to the creator that he can have one Angele defet 180,000 man in one night with no effort at all.
The Roman church acquired their religion from the Babilonian Pontiff Maxiumus: king-priest Attalus III by reason of his having no heirs and because the Roman armies by this time had conquered territories surrounding Pergamum (The city where the Babylonian religion fled due to the attacks by King Cyrus of Persia in 539 B.C.), willed all his dominions, titles, robes and religious powers as a pontiff in the long line of claimed Nimrod’s successors. This was to prove to be a rich acquisition later as Rome turned into an empire.
Also, mostly all pagan religions of that time, including the Roman empire had temple prostututes; and NO, I don’t compare Nuns to such a deprave state of religious minds. However, the idea of having woman serve their lives as servants to God in ludicrous. That’s the Old Testament; In the New Testatment, Jesus is the one calling on all to follow him and take the torture stake; this included all woman. There is no mention in the Scriputures as to woman needing to abstain from marriage and bearing children. In many occassions god granted or open the womb of many woman in the scriputes to give them an heir such as Sarah, Abrahm’s wife. (my conclusion, and followed by: I motion that all woman that have subjected themselves to being a slave to Jesus in the form of being a Nun, should resign their vestige and take the Goddly appointment to be a man’s helper).
